Isaiah T. Taylor in Brogging Milestone, Cinema, Gaming, Interviews, Video, Youtubeness
Trust Me, I'm Just As Surprised As You Are.
It all started with an image of Jeff Goldblum in short-shorts. We’ve been through a lot haven’t we? Internet memes. Epic gaming rants and the institution that is the nonsensical image at the end of my movie and game reviews.
This is the part where I issue some form of “state of the brog” address. There are plans, but for the handful of you who actually read this site, expect more of the same. Which, I guess, is more of anything I can get my mind around. There won’t be some major site overhaul or “Brog 2.0 beta” experience. I do like making banners with me in them, so expect more of those [narcissism]. For the eight of you who have stuck with The Brog this long ... I apologize. No one should willingly subject themselves to such poor grammar on a regular basis. I salute you.
I want to thank Gamasutra, Bitmob, Columbus Dispatch’s “Game On,” and 1up. They have unknowingly catered to my blogging ego and its because of those communities that inspire my optimism. Super-big thanks goes to WebMetro for being the money getter and supporter of my weird little endeavors and just as big props goes to: Reddit, N4G and Digg. These guys are responsible for the site making it out to people who take chances everyday. Only to be disappointed by a clever image of Xzibit doing derivatives.
Much like awful clip shows from sit-coms in the 90’s. Below are some select exerpts and gems from the Brog’s past. Heck, I even plugged in some new funnies. Here’s to two-years of me trying to figure out what to do with this ridiculous site. And even though most of you lurk, and/or send me nasty e-mails -- I love you all.
You Don't Lose With Warren Ellis. You Only Win!Though I disagree with turning everything I originally adore conform to another form of media. This is quite the impressive list of graphic novels you'd like to see turned into movies.
[Judging by the mug shot, Michael Edwards seems to be pretty proud of himself.]
