    Microsoft Done With Seinfeld?

Cue awful transitional synthesized Seinfeld music

Don't get comfortable with this image above.  That's right, there will be no more casual run-ins at a shoe store with a one billionaire and a certain millionaire.  Apparently, this was all apart of the 'Microsoft Ad Plan'. Pay Jerry Seinfeld millions of dollars for making Seinfeld-noises out of his mouth for a couple minutes. Have this met with a luke warm response from the general public then BAM!

    Get rid of him!

    More After the Jump...

According to Jacqui Cheng over at ArsTechnica:

Microsoft says that the new, post-Seinfeld ads will focus on "tearing down the walls," and will "celebrate the diversity and passion of consumers around the world who use Windows to stay in touch with the people, information and ideas that they care about." What, exactly, that means is still a little up in the air, as Microsoft's language in its announcement talks a lot about living life, holistics, and the Windows journey. There is a handy image gallery on Microsoft's site, though, that helps to convey the "Life Without Walls" philosophy.
How does this sound MORE lame than the initial ads Microsoft started with? I got a little humor out of the whole 'Seinfeld helping out Microsoft' thing. It at least got people talking...even if it wasn't that funny. Word on the street is, they have a already planned who the new stars are going to be in the new MS ads. One of which, Eva Longoria? Hey, I'm not saying the lady isn't capable of promoting a product, but this just seems a little odd of a choice [if it is indeed true].
