Commercial Break: Women's Clothing Through Time

I talked to my mom really early this morning. I told her about the changes to facebook, and why everybody hates it, but, you know -- still uses it. I told her about my flat tire and how I'll have no time to repair it until my one day off.

She yawned. She said, "you'll be alright, take it one day at a time." Then she did her hair. My mom's always done her own hair. Funny how things never change.

Commercial Break: Can You Walk Like This?

After a day of writing and hanging with some friends, I'm realizing that we are all working too hard. I mean, I love working, sometimes really hard. Builds character. But do you ever think to yourself, "Damn, I need to just straight space out for a bit?"

Above is a clip that I can't really make heads nor tails of [pun scanned...it's real!]. I would assume that it is in some way related to bugs [or glitches depending on your school of thought] found in modern programming.

So cheers to you hard working people out there. The glitch in your life will have a patch, I just don't know how soon it'll come.

Video: Portal -- No Escape by Dan Trachtenberg

Probably the most apt thing I could watch prior to getting on a plane. Ever get that feeling that the environment around you isn't where you need to be? If only we had some handy Apeture science handy to get us out of this place.

Did you watch all the way to the end? Did the directors name seem familiar? If it doesn't then I implore you to check out Dan Trachtenberg's work on the Totally Rad Show. He's usually the guy I'm vehemently disagreeing with [from the comfort of my own home] whenever they do a movie review. I knew he did commercials on occassion, but this, this, is something that wholly in a league of it's own.

So big props. And with this posting...

I'll see you aligators, much later.

The Brog's Best Of 2010: Short Film - Uira Lamour's "Time Warp"

Exercising a fine hand with CG animation. Uira Lamour's portfolio-building project. Truthfully, I did just make this category up and had no clue as to what or whom I'd nominate for 'Short Film' nominee's, but I've seen a lot of video on the web this year and Uira is definitely in a class of his own.

Honorable Mention: Path's Of Hate, The Gift
