Isaiah, Where Have You Been?
"... cuz I never see you out."
It's been so long hasn't it? Over nine months to be exact, but who's counting?

According to weekly Famitsu and thanks to Majed Athab (ps3fanboy), we have finally done it SquareEnix! I thought ridiculous looking black men created by japanese art designers reached their apex with Barrett Wallace. Tetsuya Nomura is known in the JRPG world for creating ridiculous looking white, asian and I guess even a Samoan character with funny looking hairdos. Meet Sazh Kalzroy...according to Majed:
So far, we know a few things about Sazh. He likes the color green, wields two pistol-like weapons and has a soft spot for Chocobos.
Hey...i know its video game, let alone an RPG, but shouldn't we have a games industry version of a Sidney Poitier? Someone to let designers know: "Hey...this isn't racist or anything it's just really ridiculous looking. Why not give him a normal hairstyle and a big ass chain so us blacks can support a character we relate to more."
Yeah...I'm pretty sure Sidney Poitier would say it just like that...
word for word.
I know it is just a trailer, but I just got slightly more excited for this game. Looks pretty damn dark. Not really cool with most of the character designs, but the Joker looks great!
Thanks to Joystiq.com for this video.
[if you're not psyched for a zombie filled, co-op leaning game, then you probably don't play games in the first place]
Thanks guys...it was a blast being there and learning a whole lot from playing and watching. VDO's Rogue is ridiculous and Justin's Strider is insane! Got a new found interest in playing Guilty Gear [it really is difficult figuring out which version to invest a serious amount of time in if you're a noob]. Didn't get a chance to see the ends of Smash/CvS2/MvsC2 and all the rest! It really was a lot to cover, but it was fun doing it. Hopefully next year I'll enter...
Edit: Due to the tons of e-mail I've been getting about these photos...after the jump is a photobucket link to all the rest of the shots of SBIII [they are low-res and some...if not most of them...suck]
This weekend I'll be casually playing the best players at fighters...EVAR! I'm pretty siked...it looks like this could be one of the biggest gaming tournaments on the planet. Don't believe me? Check the shoryuken thread. My good friend Fugee of Godlike Entertainment is throwing this for the third year and every year it seems to just get larger and larger.
After the jump...the other side of an awesome flyer...
Quoted From Kotaku:
Noted game critic, aspiring developer and rapper Soulja Boy says there are four Xbox 360 titles on which he cannot be beat — any circumstances. Halo 3; Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare; Gears of War and Grand Theft Auto IV. (He's also a pure bastard at Viva Pinata, I assure you.) And at the end of this 7 minute video, which I dare you to tolerate, you can get his gamertag so you can sign up for your free assbeating. PlayStation 3 gamers, you are just shit out of luck, what can I say.
Update: Hawty McBloggy looked up his Gamertag and his "intimidating k/d ratio of 0.91."
Thank you Owen Good of Kotaku, although I find these recent developments...no...discoveries of all talents relating to Soulja Boy intriguing. I can't help but think if this youngster had a chance to make his own game...[which I've just knocked on wood about] what would it look like?
I think we'll be able to look back on this and say, "You know what...no matter how [good/bad] MK vs DC was, that cover was damned pimpalicious."
And yes I have heard Shazam is apparently an unstoppable force in this 'just about to drop' title. What I'm most interested in would be given Midway's financial issues, how many more of these 'kind of' big budget titles do they have in them?
So it's medieval times, warring factions of two [or more] kingdoms and guess who shows up? Zombies...knighted zombies! Max Brooks would be proud. Seriously, this game could be crap...I want it...I want to play it...and hold it close to my bosom. Only thing is...it's on the friggen PSP! Since when do developers release heaps and heaps of game on the PSP!?

Props to Joystiq's Andrew Yoon for posting this. I guess TGS has been rolling on with a suitable amount of small surprises. I'm guessing today was more so focused on developers and handhelds. Above is Level-5's Ushiro, a horror-themed RPG which looks pretty sweet as an animated feature alone...the game looks okay too.
After The Jump: Tekken 6 Screens, Undead Knights hilarious trailer and Quantum Theory's trailer...
