Science Project: F**k Yeah Nouns!

It's only right. I guess I did talk a lot of smack about Dollhouse didn't I?

If you have some spare time to kill. Venture over to F**k Yeah Nouns. Apparently you can type in a name and I'm assuming the site searches public photos on Facebook and Twitter [which a little scary when you think about it]. This little science experiment pics the first photo found that has the tagged name you typed in. Pretty cool, huh?

So Conan And Google Walked Into A Bar...

Just when I thought I was 'over the Conan hype' something like this occurs. Conan O'Brien [ex-host of Late Night With Conan O'Brien and ex-intern host of The Tonight Show With Whatshisface] and Google decided to site down one evening and do what they do best -- draw attention to themselves. I'm usually anti-obvious shameless promotion, but I gotta say -- I'd do it for the free stuff too.

Bad News: The ACTA Treaty Hates You

We can't take our government anywhere 'nowadays'. About a week ago, in Seoul Korea, the U.S. Government decided to sign an ACTA [Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement]treaty with several powerful nations [South Korea and Canada notably]. This treaty encapsulated a fair amount of free-trade of intellectual agreements and most importantly, an Internet Chapter. Fellow nerds, we've done it. We have the government making chapters and policy outlines specifically to protect our best interest, via the internet. Unfortunately, there appears to be a reason why this treaty was signed in a great deal of secrecy. Below are the issues at hand.

Google is now one of 10 most recognizable brands!

These Women Have Absolutely NOTHING To Do With This Article

Just in case you aren't aware, those ladies are throwing up the 'Ballin'' symbol. You see it is something you do when you feel care free and feel the need to show others around you, "Why yes sir, I am making a crap-ton of money...and no...I will not be sharing it with you."

Google after ten years of existence has placed 10th in Interbrands annual Best Global Brands survey. Although this probably seems like no suprise to those who are internet savvy or just have a job that revolves around a keyboard and glowing box. This is quite the feat for Google seeing as the rest of the companies on that list have a couple decades on them.

If you feel like next year Google will be dubbed "Humanity's Lord & Savior" you are not alone.

Who Surf's For Porn On A Plane?!

Sorry...I couldn't resist a Snakes On A Plane Joke

Really? Word? Apparently, Association of Professional Flight Attendants has waged a mini-war against some passengers on American Airlines who just can't wait until they get into the privacy of their own homes. I'm guessing since JetBlue and Southwest have already mandated restrictions on their web access, this should be no problem for the lovely people at American. Seriously, how much damage can the passengers do with only one free hand...

More after the jump...

Google Chrome - Is It Really Ballin'?

Well...atleast its fast...hopefully the beta will be shorter than Gmail's

I am one of millions that just had to sign up for the Google Chrome Beta. Let me tell you for a solid one and a half days I was very impressed by the speed.  One of the features that attracted me was the fact that none of your tabs that you'd normally have open in Mozilla or IE 'don't compete'. Meaning if one tab is loading a lot of data this bears no weight on the rest of the tabs you have open.  As of a day ago I have definitly seen this feature shot down.  But hey! It's a beta right?  Well...did you know Google's G-mail was in beta until this year? Yea...awesome.

It gets worse after the break...
