Fatal Frame [PS2]: The Greatest Game I've Never Finished

I did not finish Fatal Frame. It was not because I was to scared. It was not because I grew bored with this game. I simply ran out of ammo. Can you believe it? I have been playing Fatal Frame for the Playstation 2 intermittently for about 2 months. Had it not been a perfect storm of user error on my part and brutal, archaic game design on developer Temco's, this positive review would [or could] be more in depth. My PS2 catalog playthrough continues.

Devil May Cry [PS2]: It Doesn't Get More Emo Than This

That's A Snazzy Trench Coat You Got There

I finally did it guys! I beat Devil May Cry 1 for the PS2! On my PS3! Aren't you excited for me?  Look, I know its been a while since I've updated my PS2 quest log, but I've really been working hard over here.  Making photos...I even buckled down and purchased a PS3.  So with the long wait finally over, here it is...here is how I feel about one of the longest running action games for Capcom.  I'll spoil the ending of this review...I kinda hated Devil May Cry.  I hated it a lot.

Capcom vs SNK 2 [PS2]: Review

How Come All PAL covers are cooler than the NTSC?

It is not as good as the Sega Dreamcast version. It is hardly an arcade perfect port. There are glitches out the wazoo. Seeing as I have a natural [or unnatural] affinity to fighting games, I was more than psyched to play through CvS2 on my PS2. Sadly, if it had not been for my Dreamcast spoiling me, I would not have so many minor negative issues with the PS2 version. I still had a ton of fun with Capcom vs. SNK 2.

    Burnout 3 [PS2] Review

This review has been a long time coming [considering I finished playing Burnout three weeks ago].

As my journey of playing through my PS2 games in alphabetical order continues, something quite wonderful has happened.  I have finally seen the joy of being a fan of an 'Arcade' racer.  Not since Ridge Racer 4 for the PS1 have I felt a kind of quiet satisfaction one gets from playing a game like Burnout [Sheesh that was a little overly gushy].  I should amend that statement, Burnout 3 is as much an 'Arcade racer', much like Jessica Alba is a well known actress.  Yes they are known for what they generally are, but the quality they bring to the table is what should be talked about [only this works against Alba].

    My PS2 Catalog Playthrough: From A - Z

    Click To Make Larger

In 2007 I purchased a PS2. I have been playing through my PS2 catalog for the first time for the past year and a half. I know...once you click the pic and realize how 'little' of my games I have played through it would probably make you sick [I know it makes me sick].  If you did click the image you are probably wondering what the 'white dots' and the 'green dots' are by certain games.  The white dots are games I started to play or but never finished it or gotten that far [most of those are probably fighting games]. The green dots are games I finished, most of which are games I finished prior to creating this challenge.

Finally Odin Sphere Is In The Fold!

I have no idea of what is going on here...

Ridiculous amounts of joy are pinching the outer edges of my cheeks [face].  Finally, rounding out my already epic PS2 collection in a more nerdy way [see...its more nerdy when you just purchase a PS2 a year ago].  I'm looking to do the same with the PS3 when I:

    A) Sony realizes they have COMPLETELY gaffed a perfect console [PS3] by confusing customers by placing four...that's right, 4 PS3 SKU's in their faces and a good majority of which overpriced and/or lacking key features that make the PS3...well...the PS3.  Anywhoo...either Sony quits and I can go down to my local shop [or ebay] and cop a PS3 for a fraction of the price they are currently asking for.

    B) I win a PS3 in some sort of awesome Redball sweepstakes. In which, case I can stop borrowing my friends and subsequently start RockBand Monday's in order to make up for all the time wasted/spent/leaching when using theirs

    C) I hit the lottery and get a solid gold house for my mom. Buy the LHC for my little sister because she likes the pictures i e-mail of it. And THEN...get the proper flat screen in order for games & Blu-Ray's to look awesome then...and only then...that is when I'll purchase a PS3.
