Burnout 3 [PS2] Review

This review has been a long time coming [considering I finished playing Burnout three weeks ago].

As my journey of playing through my PS2 games in alphabetical order continues, something quite wonderful has happened.  I have finally seen the joy of being a fan of an 'Arcade' racer.  Not since Ridge Racer 4 for the PS1 have I felt a kind of quiet satisfaction one gets from playing a game like Burnout [Sheesh that was a little overly gushy].  I should amend that statement, Burnout 3 is as much an 'Arcade racer', much like Jessica Alba is a well known actress.  Yes they are known for what they generally are, but the quality they bring to the table is what should be talked about [only this works against Alba].

What Discourages Me Most About Buying A PS3.

The PS3 has a bevy of functionality...so why haven't I bought it yet?

Difficult being a fanboy in a recession

[Edit: I wrote this for StartScreen, I figured I'd just copy & paste it here as well]

If you've been paying attention to the news and rumblings about the current financial trend in technology, more specifically, the games industry then you know that us gamers have quite the road ahead of us this year. With platforms warring for our dollars and developers struggling [financially and with the aformentioned platforms], innovation may come second to keeping these respective companies above water.

Beyond Good & Evil [PS2]

Dripping with epic-icity

This review has been almost half a year in the making. I started playing BG&E in August before school started here on campus. I completed the game for the first time a couple days ago and I'm still taken aback by how super-awesomely-cool this game is. Not-so-secretly, I'm super jazzed about the sequel next year even though I don't personally own any of the next gen systems [and I refuse to buy Wii!].

Sega Genesis 20th Anniversary: A Week Later

Remember The Bad Ole Days?

Tuesday was the 20th anniversary of the Sega Genesis console. The first console I helped by with my own money with the use of odd jobs and random tasks.

More gushings after the jumper...
