Commercial Break: Caine's Arcade

Let this be a lesson in humility. Let this remind you of those days when it was just you, in a yard, with ideas. Let this ground you, because we weren't all popular. A lot of us were, or probably still are, the person that doesn't get to play with others often. We get so engulfed in whatever worlds we inhabit that it's really easy to believe that no one out there is paying attention.

Sometimes a little hardwork and solitude will bring great fortune. We can all do ourselves a service by sitting with our ideas, and really sticking with them.

Big thanks to director Nirvan Mullick and his reddit clan. For more about Caine's Arcade and his scholarship fund, go here.

I Love Bill Nye [The Science Guy]

I really mean this with every heterosexual bone in my body, but man is Bill Nye cool. Aside from his amazing life story, Bill Nye can take time out of his atom cracking day to answer the average person's concerns about the huge oil spill.

The result is pretty cool [of course] because I initially thought he would have dismissed all of the suggestions [especially the hay one].

This Week In 'Cage Watch': We've Been Duped!

Look at that not-at-all suspicious mustache. I knew something had to be off with the cosmos when I posted up the many troubling findings of Mr. Nicolas Cage's estate. Turns out People magazine was wrong. Who knew such a prestigious publication could be slightly off as to the 36.7 million dollar lawsuit against Cage. [Turns out it was only $3 million] Oh yeah, when People reported that Cage was also being accused of fraud, that again was an 'untruthitude'.

In summation, Nicolas Cage is a-okay. Aside from that whole $3 million dollar lawsuit, which I'm sure a questionable remake called Bad Lieutenant will take care of.

After the jump, a trailer that practically gives away the entire movie.

PWND: Wall Street Gets The Vaccine Before You Do

Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News, World News, and News about the Economy

Oh word? I mean, I guess if it weren't for these guys we wouldn't be able to...well...hmm. I'm not quite sure what were to happen if everybody on Wall Street got sick and specifically the swine flu. Maybe we would lose our way in the world and start eating our own poop [I mean, once we've kept the demons away by flinging our poop surplus]. I could never get a vaccine. I mean...I really couldn't, this has nothing to do with my morals to getting vaccinations, but if you were to include that I would still be hacking up a lung for the sake of someone who may be worse off than I am.

Not Wall Street though. These guys are white collar gangsta. It just goes to show you ... you can't spell Swine Flu without WIN. And Wall Street got this round.

Ohio Has Seen Better Days.

A couple weeks back we here in Columbus, OH found out that apparently we are one step closer to eating our belts.  It is no secret that Ohio is pretty damn broke. We've been facing a $7+ billion dollar debt for quite some time and with a Mayor that has been introducing some questionable projects in the future, it seems to make things in this city appear to be a bit more bleaker than what we have already had to deal with.

What Discourages Me Most About Buying A PS3.

"Thank yous" to Leigh Alexander of Gamasutra, she [and the Onion] have helped me narrow down what my big issue is with the PS3.  This video is clearly an exaggerated belief for what non-, or even anti-PS3 savages believe.  It is high-end. The PS3 has a bevy of functionality...so why haven't I bought it yet?

The WWE's Kane teaches us about economics

Really...his hight is 6'12"?!

Things you may not have known about Glenn "Kane" Jacobs. Very much an intellectual when he's not chokeslaming his way to a pro wrestling champion ship. For instance did you know he recently had an economic bone to pick with UC Berkley's Robert Reich?

After the jump...something you probably wouldn't have expected from the guy...

Dating A Banker Anonymous

A blog dedicated to women who are dating a very specific kind of banker...the rich ones. You always think that this 'type of woman' doesn't really exist, but man...even in 'e-format' there is something unnerving about these women.

Obama Is President: So What Happen's Next?

I Think He Realizes How Awesome His Jacket Is

With about 20 minutes of reflection today [it's been a busy week] I guess it wouldn't be TO out of character to make a little brog about the recent happenings in Ohio and to a larger extent, America.

Dribble After the Break...
