Audio Files: Bjork & Gondry Together Now You Know You In Trouble

Coming from a drum & bass-slash-dubstep [active] hater, I'll leave it to Bjork's newest single to do justice to a combination of sounds I traditionally hate.

Heck, I'm not even sure if I like Bjork!

Reading Material: From Lil Jon's Downward Spiral To 'Boning'

Even Lil John's career wasn't safe from nimble, web-active fingers.

One of the main reasons it's hard for me to write [besides the 37 other hobbies I'm currently involved in] is because I'm trying to make a conscious effort to catch up on articles I should have read eons ago. Let's expand this limited vocubulary, right?

Seriously, every time I open up Google Chrome, I have a minimum of 13 tabs staring back at me. Maybe I do need to find that 25th hour in the day? Or, maybe there is this subconscious old-guy laying deep within the recesses of my cortex, begging me to read these amazing articles on a printed piece of paper. Maybe I'm just lazy?

Be that as it may, let this serve to the people who know me via the net as well as in real life [yes, I typed the whole thing, not that dumb ass 'IRL' abbreviation], that whenever I hear people say, "You post so much on Facebook or on Twitter!"

I'm always thinking, "You should see the stuff I don't post."

After the jump is a pool of articles that I've collected probably since last year. You'll probably notice that, though I visit 1up a great deal, I have yet to catch up on an 8th of their awesome, in-depth, cover stories. You'll also notice that I read a lot about human sexuality, because...well...people are f**king weird. But so am I.

Commerical Break: The Antoine Dodson Meme Will Never Die

I feel personally touched [pause] that the Antoine Dodson story -- which is really not a story or about Antoine Dodson for that matter, has gotten to be this large. How large you say? Come on! When established HBCU's are doing renditions of a song that was a rendition of your tale about your sister's pseudo-rape then you really have to look at this magical beast that is the internet and marvel at how it works.

Plus, I have family in Huntsville, AL so I feel kinda personally invested for no reason other than, "Yeah, I know an Antoine Dodson-type dude down in the south and he good people." And really, that's all that needs to be said.

This Week In 'Cage Watch': We've Been Duped!

Look at that not-at-all suspicious mustache. I knew something had to be off with the cosmos when I posted up the many troubling findings of Mr. Nicolas Cage's estate. Turns out People magazine was wrong. Who knew such a prestigious publication could be slightly off as to the 36.7 million dollar lawsuit against Cage. [Turns out it was only $3 million] Oh yeah, when People reported that Cage was also being accused of fraud, that again was an 'untruthitude'.

In summation, Nicolas Cage is a-okay. Aside from that whole $3 million dollar lawsuit, which I'm sure a questionable remake called Bad Lieutenant will take care of.

After the jump, a trailer that practically gives away the entire movie.

Nicolas Cage - Could "Kick-Ass" Save His Life?

As you may or may not have known, I have been on Nick Cage Watch for the past couple of months. We know of Cage's current life hardships as a result of those pesky evil accountants of the world and here at the brog...our hearts go out to him. There appears to be a glimmer of light at the end of this horribly long and sad-faced tunnel. The movie Kick-Ass looks like it could be one of those rare, well-acted movies for Cage. I mean even in this current era of awful, Knowing's, Next's & Bangkok Dangerous' he has managed to be in the occasional Adaptation's and Weathermen's.

Cage needs this to work for him...in the worse kind of way. Because we all know Ghost Rider 2 is right around the corner.

After the jump, a less 'PG' trailer of Kick-Ass...

Dedicated to Nicolas Cage's [Current] Acting Career

Me and my lady have been tossing around the idea of how far the mighty Nicolas Cage has fallen. Sure Ghost Rider made a bajillion dollars and we will more than likely see Mr. Cage play with the notion of being a psychic time travaller [a la Knowing and Next fame] in future cinematic projects. In my personal and professional opinion, Nicolas Cage's magnum opus will always and forever be The Wicker Man. Watch as Cage gets stung in the eyes by bees and punch ladies in the face. Then when you think The Wicker Man has reached its zenith realize that Cage can punch ladies in the face while dressed as a bear.

I Highly recommend...

Video: Conan O'Brien's "Old Time Baseball" clip

Seriously, after seeing this clip I know his new show will not have the same feel, but could [probably] be just as good.  The clip is more than likely more than internet famous, but it bears watching one more time.

Christian Bale Is Pissed

I don't know what else needs to be said. Its funny...I was just having a conversation with a fellow photography cohort of mine and we were sharing stories of how we screwed up our fair share of projects. But this...man, that DP sounded like he was ready to put his hands over his face and cover up until Bale tired himself out.

After the break...the transcript

SNL: Tina Fey IS Sarah Palin

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to tell the difference between Sarah Palin and Tina Fey. Not even joking. Her parody is that spot on. See original Palin interview video here.

“PALIN”: “Like every American I’m speaking with, we are ill about this. We’re saying, ‘Hey, why bail out Fanny and Freddie and not me?’ But ultimately, what the bailout does is, help those that are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy to help, uhhh, it’s gotta be all about job creation too. Also, too, shoring up our economy and putting Fannie and Freddie back on the right track, and so health care reform and reducing taxes and reigning in spending…’cause Barack Obama, ya know, has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans, also, having a dollar value meal at restaurants. That’s gonna help. But 1 in 5 jobs being created today under the umbrella of job creation. That, you know. Also…..”
