One Of The Few Reason's I Still Check IGN's site: Mega64

How many times must I watch something of the Mega64 lot and think, "Damn, why didn't I come up with that?" Yeah, I'm a hater. They do good things and there are talented people in the IGN halls, so this shouldn't be seen as a complete slight to the company. Let's be honest though, who on IGN is funnier than these guys though?

After the Jump, "Why Would You Do That To A PSP Go?"

Exclusive: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 'More Realer'

Powerful isn't it? If I were to gamble, I would say the narrative would be more interesting in this Call Of Duty than the previous Modern Warefare games. Bah, who am I kidding? They'd probably botch the ending to this too. Gaming just isn't there yet to deal with realism in a realistic manner. Did that make any sense? Props to The Onion for their 'South Park-esque' finger on the pulse of society content.

Who am I kidding? I would buy it.

No Explanation: Dock Ellis & The No-No [via James Blagden]

There really is no reason why I should put this on my blog, other than filing it in the 'Why the F Not' category. And if you listen closely, you'll hear some Rufus Thomas playing in the background. Dock Ellis is a very powerful man, I'm glad he shared his story.

There Is Something About This Girl I Really Like...

Elizabeth Lambert, I'm putting you on notice...for stealing my heart. I mean, at a certain in this clip I thought blood trickles would be evident. I have never played soccer on an organized team and after seeing a clip like this I am pretty okay watching this from the comfort of my own home. Unfortunately, not all soccer games that end with a 1-0 score have the entertainment value that the lovely Miss Lambert gave America and the world.

I Salute You

PWND: Wall Street Gets The Vaccine Before You Do

Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News, World News, and News about the Economy

Oh word? I mean, I guess if it weren't for these guys we wouldn't be able to...well...hmm. I'm not quite sure what were to happen if everybody on Wall Street got sick and specifically the swine flu. Maybe we would lose our way in the world and start eating our own poop [I mean, once we've kept the demons away by flinging our poop surplus]. I could never get a vaccine. I mean...I really couldn't, this has nothing to do with my morals to getting vaccinations, but if you were to include that I would still be hacking up a lung for the sake of someone who may be worse off than I am.

Not Wall Street though. These guys are white collar gangsta. It just goes to show you ... you can't spell Swine Flu without WIN. And Wall Street got this round.

Dedicated to Nicolas Cage's [Current] Acting Career

Me and my lady have been tossing around the idea of how far the mighty Nicolas Cage has fallen. Sure Ghost Rider made a bajillion dollars and we will more than likely see Mr. Cage play with the notion of being a psychic time travaller [a la Knowing and Next fame] in future cinematic projects. In my personal and professional opinion, Nicolas Cage's magnum opus will always and forever be The Wicker Man. Watch as Cage gets stung in the eyes by bees and punch ladies in the face. Then when you think The Wicker Man has reached its zenith realize that Cage can punch ladies in the face while dressed as a bear.

I Highly recommend...

A Wilco Show Review From A Guy Who Know's D*@k About Wilco

It probably goes without saying that I have never claimed to be a fan of Wilco. The day of their show at the Mershon Center, myself and my resident 'old school' Wilco-fan of a girlfriend, collectively forgot about the show. Guess it just goes to show you how much of a 'blip' on the radar a live Wilco show makes in our world.  With all this being said, this is where I say, "Wilco is one of the worst bands I have ever heard" or "How can anyone listen to this kind of crap?!" Although I am not a fan of 'this type' of music, I was intrigued for many reasons to go to a Wilco show. What kind of people go? What do people do at a Wilco show? What is the proper form of dress? Mind you, my only knowledge of shows of this caliber are of the funk and hiphop variety. Sure I have ventured to the occasional metal show, but nothing of this size and sophistication.

Video: A Street Fighting Encore

In the spirit of this upcoming weekend's festivities, and the fact that everyone loves to watch a terribly animated & voice acted cartoon. Here's part 2 of the Street Fighter cartoon follies. My favorite is around 00:50 when Guile apparently has the knack for walking through people. BISON!!!!

Batman Is Awesome, But Until Recently His Games Sucked.

Apologies for the over-saturation of Joystiq clips [I promise they don't own stock in me or anything like that], but they do good work.  Props to Xav for posting this up.

Batman games have always sucked. Yes, even that catastrophe most of you guys hold dear to your childhood soles thanks to the NES.  Batman Arkham Asylum was released this week and word is...it's kinda nice.  I haven't played it, but I am a huge "Animated Series" fan so its money that's already gone from my account [I just gotta find time to play the damn thing].

Check out this clip of the storied history of the awesomeness of the caped crusader and the troubling woes of the awful games that were released only to besmirch his game in the video game realm.

For more on the sucky Batman video games...check out Xav's "Batman Retrospective" [it really is quite good].

Brutal Legend: Metal Rubix Cube Soundtrack

Needless to say, my level of excitement is consistently bubbling for Tim Shaffer's newest endevour.  I have no idea how he is able to get such a banging soundtrack line up [something tells me having Electronic Arts as your publisher doesn't hurt]. The rights managment has got to be a pretty penny. In other news, I don't get Rubix cubes. My grandfather owned one and it seemed like everyone in my family knew how to solve it except for me. Crap...gotta go to work, just thought I would post this for anybody who is just as enthused about this game. [To the point of not watching anything from the game, but to watch the creator and someone who is clearly from PR talk at length about who is going to be on the game's soundtrack.]
