Full disclosure: My day job is currently requiring I work longer hours and do heavier lifting. I'm currently writing this after imbibing one hell of a riesling and several cupcakes. Don't judge, but recognize that I may not be at my sharpest.

    Metacritic and Reviews

    Oh Word?

Two independent articles, but both dealing with serious bidness of gaming. One dealing with Metacritic and who its impact has impacted gaming, game reviews and especially games journalism.

The second article is a rant about users ranting about reviews. Some would say it is a review of a review.

New BioShock 2 Trailer At End Of BioShock On PS3

I still think it is an odd thing to add to the PS3 version simply because it is 'this version'. Props to Videogaming 24/7 for posting this up.

Kids of New 90210 Playing Fake Xbox Game...Hey wait is that "Michael" From The Wire?!

Perusing the Kotaku, I found myself with a specific hankering for a newly 'revitalized' 90's show with a hype Next Gen spin.  Naturally the New 90210 show on the CW was the first thing to pop in to my little nugget of a brain. What I was expecting with this clip was for the two actors to be playing this CLEARLY FAKE Xbox 360 game. The kids should be exclaiming such catchy quotes as 'Freakin' Sweet' and 'You Sank My Battleship', but instead of that I get two child actors erratically pressing buttons [come one...at least fake it like you play it semi-frequently] and Tristan Wilds of The Wire fame 'eating his opponents head'.  Well good to see the kid working and not so angry and brooding a la his previous outstanding performance of The Wire.
