Jack Thompson Disbarred : 15 Minutes Of E-Fame Hopefully Over?

Well At Least He Now Has Time On His Hands To Finish The Darn Game

I'm not the kind of person to kick a person when they are down. I am the kind of person to laugh at a person when they are down.  Let's be honest...when someone falls in the street, initially you are concerned.  You want the person to be okay and you may even go the extra mile of extending a helping hand. Once they have their faculties about them, you are able to laugh about the then frightening occurrence.

Jack Thompson has had his fair share of slip ups and miscues [which just so happen to be captured on video and in this very brog]. He has been a strong proponent for the banning of most of the most popular video games with the ESRB rating of 'M'. He has issued ultimatums to gaming sites and the journalists of the more popular enthusiast outlets.  He has blamed the deaths of children in households and college campuses on games like Halo 3 and the Grand Theft Auto series, all the while representing the families of the victims of very real atrocities.

The fact that Thompson was disbarred in Florida over a litany of issues does not give me joy or feeling of accomplishment.  I'm actually quite worried if this is the last we will hear from our passionate politician. He could technically pass the bar of the 49 other U.S. states if AND ONLY IF, he has a friend-lawyer who could vouch for his conduct in the courtroom.

Homophobia In The Gaming Community

[Warning: Explicit Content]

This is an interesting clip and study I heard about a while back from Flynn DeMarco of Gay Gamer.  At the beginning of this clip you'll hear a very small portion of a much larger and more awful collection of DeMarco's recordings while playing your average Halo/Call of Duty/Gears Of War video game.

This isn't surprising I know, this doesn't mean it shouldn't be talked about.  Personally, I'd like to make a recording of all the ridiculous vitriol I've experienced online once a group of people realized I was black. Unfortunately, I have not found the time as of late.

Silly Video "Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion"

Coming from someone who use to play fighters competitively and now 'semi-religiously' it is really intriguing and sad to see the route the new Tekken has taken. If all anyone within this specified niche sect can say, 'Well...at least it looks better than Tekken 4' then got big problem.

It seems like Namco never quite recovered from losing its Tekken fans since four [which was 6 years ago mind you].  Look at this trailer! Almost everything in this "Speed Racer-esque' colorful explosion-fest looks a bit gimmicky.  The backgrounds look great, but Xiaoyu with a magic wand? And one of the most rediculous last name to grace a fighter...Alexanderson.

/Nitpick

I actually am psyched to play this game,

Video Game Reviews - Soulja Boy Tells Them?

Here we have Soulja Boy explaining what could only be loosely described as a video game review.  As a preface, I know Soulja Boy is still a teenager and has a lot of money and is an avid gamer...I know these things, but do you have to record yourself every time you feel your brain has 'yet again' spun pure gold?

This is what blogs are for people.

Sega Dreamcast Anniversary - Remember The Good Times

So Many Good Things...What Went Wrong

Sega's last console which was launched September 9th in 1999 [9/9/99] had it's ninth anniversary yesterday.  As a proud owner of a Dreamcast I thought I'd make a small post about the 'good times'. Funny, I was reading specs on this machine and it really did have it all! Having it all wasn't going to save Sega's 'swan song' of a console though, no third-party support and heavy piracy ultimately gutted this machine before it had a chance against its PSone and eventual PS2 competitor.

Mark Hamill returns as the Joker [In Arkham Asylum Game]

Commence The Freak Out

Breath...Breath...in through the nose, out through the mouth. Yes, it is true. Sir Mark Hamill [why did I just knight dude?] a.k.a. the 2nd best joker ever [sorry I have to give it to 'the Ledge' for his bananaberry performance] will getting behind the mic one more time.

If you've been living under a rock for the past 15 years, Mark Hamill's best contributions to anything in the acting space will be his portrayal of the Joker on TV's "Batman: The Animated Series". That's right your Luke Skywalker is in no way on the level of the Hamill...

okay...i'll stop now...
